Beat The Heat via "Shaved Ice"

When the summer comes, the temperature could get up to over one hundred Celsius. Now it’s summer time again, any drinks with ice can cool you down straight through mouth down to stomach. On the market, there are many “Ice” products that you can choose; snow ice, ice cream, or smoothie, all made from ice. In Taiwan, people like to have “Shaved Ice,” this is the closet name for this lovely traditional snack. Let’s have a “Shaved Ice” to beat the heat.
In Taiwan, the store usually have more than 20 different ingredients for you to choose, and also fruits. Normally, you can choose three different ingredients; you can choose more than three if you want.
Personally, beans and fruits are my favorite ingredients, it's healthier and won't get too sweet. Some ingredients, such as tapioca or starch pearl could stretch your stomach, but it is tasty, many people like it.

This is what I have, taros, green beans and white beans.

This particular machine shave ice into a shape like snow.

After the shaved ice cover all on the top, and pour one spoon or more sugar on it.

When all ingredients mix together in mouth, the body seems cool down just like pour cool water on the head.

It just feels good after wolf down the whole plate, the heat just flee from my body. There are many choices you can take, some fruits jam is available pour on the top. Enjoy this lovely ice snack for this summer, just cool down your body.
